This guide covers three ways to run it, exactly what Default Mode changes, which apps it removes, five ways to undo it and the risks to know first.

EdgeEver is a new open-source knowledge base (AGPL-3.0, about 2,400 stars) that keeps Evernote’s three-pane layout and adds mind maps, database tables, poster notes, a web clipper and MCP, with clients on every platform. It runs free on Cloudflare’s Workers, D1 and R2 free tier, or installs on a VPS or NAS with one Docker command. This guide covers the demo, choosing a deployment, migrating from Evernote and what to know first.

security-audit is an open-source coding agent skill from Cloudflare’s security team (MIT, about 34K stars) and the starting point of its internal vulnerability-hunting system. Install it in Claude Code or Codex, say “security audit this codebase”, and it runs reconnaissance, hunting, adversarial validation, structured output, independent review and reporting. We tested the install and bundled tests and explain the two modes, three tiers, sandboxing and cost.

Claudemy is a free, open-source Claude Code skill: give it a topic and it reads 20 to 40 web pages, compares what they say, and builds about 12 two-minute, two-host audio lessons, each with a card and a small exercise, while a citation check blocks fabricated links. This post covers installation, voice options, other languages and cost.

Open-sourced on October 19, Mac.apk turns an APK straight into a Mac app: no emulator or VM, with 64-bit ARM code running natively on Apple silicon. It needs macOS 26.4+, and 51 of the 65 apps the author hand-tested work. This post covers the four-step install, using F-Droid and Aurora Store, keyboard/mouse/controller input, and the important warning that it is not a sandbox.

Ran out of Claude Code quota and switched to Codex, or moved to another machine, and the AI forgot everything? ai-memory uses hooks to record sessions automatically and curates them into a git-managed Markdown wiki that 20+ coding agents share, with automatic handoff when you switch. MIT-licensed, no API key needed by default. This post covers installation, daily use, privacy limits and tips for non-English projects.

Compiled from official sources: pros and cons, which files to pick for your VRAM, a five-step ComfyUI install, settings, using it for traditional Chinese painting and print upscaling, and what the FLUX Kommunity License allows commercially.

A laid-off geophysicist built a job-search pipeline in Claude Code: 69 tailored applications led to 20 first interviews and a contract. Open-sourced, it’s now gaining 2,000+ stars a day. Here’s what its commands do, how it differs from typical AI résumé tools, how to use it outside Denmark, what it costs, and two privacy pitfalls.

This FAQ covers the benchmark changes, peak and off-peak pricing, how to send images to the API and its limits, the thinking-mode switch, Claude Code configuration, and whether you can run the open weights at home.

llmspeed is a free, open-source web tool: pick a GPU or Mac, a model and a quantization, and it types out a response at the estimated speed, tells you whether the model fits, and lets two setups race. How to use it, how to read its measured/derived/projected labels, and speed and time-to-first-token tables from the RTX 3060 to the 5090, Macs and the Ryzen AI Max+ 395.
