EdgeEver is a new open-source knowledge base (AGPL-3.0, about 2,400 stars) that keeps Evernote’s three-pane layout and adds mind maps, database tables, poster notes, a web clipper and MCP, with clients on every platform. It runs free on Cloudflare’s Workers, D1 and R2 free tier, or installs on a VPS or NAS with one Docker command. This guide covers the demo, choosing a deployment, migrating from Evernote and what to know first.
