Tired of pasting JSON, regexes, or API debug payloads into random websites? KitVerse (kitverse.dev) packs 150+ developer and AI micro-tools into the browser: no signup, local-first. The author says pasted text is not uploaded to KitVerse servers, and the tools keep working offline once cached. Researched November 3, 2026.

Dev tools vs AI tools
The popular section highlights a few “click and go” capabilities:
- API Playground: REST / GraphQL, plus WebSocket, SSE, Socket.IO, MQTT
- Skill Security Scanner: static scan of
SKILL.md, scripts, folders, or ZIP for execution / exfiltration / credential / prompt-injection patterns - Tokenizer Playground: see how text splits into tokens and compare costs across common models
- PIP AI Generator: paste-ready “pressure prompts” and skill files that push a coding agent to exhaust options before giving up
- RAG Chunking Playground: six chunking strategies, real token counts, exportable
There are also the classics: JSON / YAML / TOML, regex, hash, UUID, timestamps, Cron, model price and context tables, API-provider compatibility, and more. The Tokenizer page is blunt: not every model mapping is exact — verified tiktoken maps are marked exact; the rest are estimates.

How it sits next to tools on this site
| You care more about… | Better fit |
|---|---|
| Lightweight no-upload image / JWT / JSON microsites | 52Upload / ITUpload (EN pending) |
| ~34 local-in-browser developer utilities with multi-language UI | Utilo (EN pending) |
| Optimizing, A/B-testing, and saving prompts as assets | Prompt Optimizer (EN pending) |
| Always-on desktop agent, multi-model switch, WeChat / Feishu (Lark) hooks | AnyModelBot |
| One page that covers API / Tokenizer / Skill scan / RAG chunking | KitVerse |
It is not a desktop agent, and it does not replace a dedicated prompt workspace. The gap is “open it in the browser and keep text off the wire by default”.
Boundaries (read before you paste)
- Good fit: quick JSON edits, regex tests, API debugging; a first-pass scan of an Agent Skill pack for risky patterns; token / model-price comparisons without signing up first.
- Caveats: some tools assume developer / AI workflow literacy; price data comes from LiteLLM public snapshots — trust the vendor billing page; “Works offline” needs the browser to have cached assets, so the first visit still needs the network.
- Not stated in the materials: a full privacy-policy data-flow diagram, open-source status, or whether WebSocket-style requests are proxied (in the API playground the target URL is still whatever you type).
